Trina Holt
LCPC-S, M.S., ASDCS
“My clients are from all walks of life. I see anyone who comes through my door ages 7-99! I have particular experience with adolescents and teenagers who have experienced trauma such as physical/ emotional/sexual abuse, neglect, and loss and/or who are involved in juvenile justice and/or the foster care systems. My clinical training includes trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), Autism, ADHD, and behavioral diagnoses; however, I have a great deal of training with all diagnoses. My clients' goals include increased ability to cope with life-stressors, problem solving, and anger management.
I am happy to and able to work with anyone; however, my specialty is at-risk adolescents and teenagers who experience childhood trauma. I use an eclectic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) from a humanistic perspective, play therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
Change and growth is within you and I can help you discover the solutions to problems that are barriers to your happiness and well-being. You can grow from just surviving to thriving!
